Relatinship between Cervical Lordosis and Neck pains
'DETERMINING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CERVICAL LORDOSIS AND NECK COMPLAINTS' is a very interesting study that showed us that there is link between neck pain and loss of nor cervical lordosis. The papers conclusion:
"We found a statistically significant association between cervical pain and lordosis <20° and a “clinically normal” range for cervical lordosis of 31° to 40°. Maintenance of a lordosis in the range of 31° to 40° could be a clinical goal for chiropractic treatment."
Here you can read a bit more about the paper
The study gives us support to recommend corrective spinal care to restore normal neck curve and when we do that we can hear the patients tell us how their neck pains go away.
